Funerals and Celebration of Life
As a professionally trained funeral celebrant I will help you and your family create a truly personal and meaningful funeral ceremony or memorial service. This could be a simple ceremony in a crematorium or chapel of rest, a woodland burial site or a venue special to you and your family, but always a celebration of your loved one's life. There are so many decisions to make at such a difficult time and together we can decide what music and readings you may like to include and if you feel strong enough to speak yourself then I am here to support you.
Your Choices
We all have a choice as not everyone wants the same type of funeral and I will meet with you and your family to discuss the funeral and spend some time to learn about your family and the person we are honouring, In certain circumstances this can be done via telephone or video call and will ensure that all of your ceremony content will be available beforehand for you to check and feel assured your requirements have been met. A personal ceremony can bring comfort and as an accredited FOIC celebrant, I would be honoured to have the opportunity to create a personal funeral service that is right for you and your loved one.
Your Beliefs
All ethnicities, beliefs and lifestyles are welcome, religious or non-religious which means that you can include any words or music in your ceremony to reflect the unique life of your loved one. I shall follow your lead on this completely, but I am able to make suggestions regarding content whether it's of a religious nature or not. You may contribute as much or as little as you want for your loved one's ceremony.
Personal and Unique
The order of service is entirely your choice, traditional or a totally personal concept to reflect the life you are celebrating. Together we will create a personal ceremony honouring your friend or family member.
As a professional celebrant my part is to listen to couples, family and friends, always recognising that each and every one of us is unique, have different memories and grief. I will help you to recall and create a memory of a life worth celebrating.
